Dave Stoner is the Senior Vice President of Development for the Eastern Region. Dave has over 26 years experience in the electric and independent power industry and most recently was the Senior Vice President of BP Alternative Energy where he lead their North American wind development efforts. Prior to BP he was with Greenlight Energy, Newport Generatin, Entergy Wholesale Energy, Westmoreland Energy and PPL. Dave has directed development of over 3,000MW of renewable and conventional power generation and provided executive oversight to many additional thousands of MW. Dave’s expertise includes development of market strategies, project siting, licensing, power purchase agreement negotiations, interconnections studies & agreements, turbine procurement, construction contractor selection, partner negotiations, mergers and acquisitions, and project financing. David received a BS in Environmental Management at Pennsylvania State University and a MS in Civil Engineering from Lehigh University.
