Deming, New Mexico - Element Power representatives gave Deming High School science class students, along with their teacher Mr. Wayne Sherwood, a site tour to the company's Macho Springs wind project in New Mexico. The tour was arranged by Element Power as a course follow-up to their November 2010 wind energy presentation and January 2011 lesson about wind turbine technology and calculating energy output on blade design to the same set of students. Additionally, Element Power employees assisted the class with designing their own turbine for a New Mexico State science competition.
