Kangastuuli

Kangastuuli Oy is proposing to build Kangastuuli wind farm in Siikajoki, approximately 4 kilometers west from Revonlahti village.

The proposed Kangastuuli wind farm is expected to consist of up to 45 turbines each with an installed capacity between 3MW to 5MW and with a tip height of up to 230 meters.

The wind farm will be connected to the transmission and distribution system owned and operated by Fingrid with a new 110 kV overhead line. Electrical distribution within the project area will be constructed with underground cabling.

The land use planning process has restarted with the Siikajoki Municipality 2017.

An environmental impact assessment procedure with the North-Ostrobothnia Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment has ended in 2016.
